Thursday 16th July 2026  
  New rarities today consisted of a Caspian Tern at Nosterfield Quarry in North Yorkshire, and late news of a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Snettisham RSPB in Norfolk, as well as a reported Marmora's Warbler at Heddons Mouth in Devon.

Rarities included a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, a King Eider in Shetland, White-winged Scoters in Lothian, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, and a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk.
