| Todays find of the day was a Western Reef Heron at Sandy Haven in Pembrokeshire which is thought to be the same bird as previously seen here on the 13th of May before its two week long holiday to North Wales.
The other mega today was the pale morph Booted Eagle in flight over Torquay in Devon. New rarities today consisted of Greenish Warblers on both Fair Isle at Lower Leogh and Foula at Ham, as well as a Caspian Tern at Needingworth in Cambridgeshire. Continuing rarities today included Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and Squacco Heron in Hampshire. |
