| Continuing rarities today included Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Least Tern in County Dublin, Caspian Tern in East Yorkshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Western Reef Heron in Conwy, Savi's Warblers in Somerset and Great Reed Warbler in Somerset.
Other notable news today was the identification of not one, but two Green Warblers both previously identified as Greenish Warblers, with the first being at Winterton North Dunes in Norfolk last Tuesday and the second being caught and ringed on the Calf of Man yesterday morning. |
