| Discoveries today included a male Black-headed Bunting in Shetland on Foula, a Squacco Heron in Somerset at Chew Valley Lake, a Savi's Warbler in Lincolnshire at Alkborough Flats, and in Nottinghamshire a Red-footed Falcon reported at Holme Pierrepont. Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Western Reef Heron in Gwynedd, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Trumpeter Finch still in County Wexford, White-winged Scoter in Fife, American Black Tern still in Northumberland, Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and Red-footed Falcons still in County Louth, Norfolk and Suffolk (2). Significant late news that the Western Reef Heron had been present in Pembrokeshire on 13th May at Sandy Haven. |

| The find of the day was a Brunnich's Guillemot at Cape Wrath in Highland.
New rarities today consisted of a Subalpine Warbler at Sumburgh Head on Shetland, a White-rumped Sandpiper at Langford Lowfields in Nottinghamshire, a White-winged Scoter at Musselburgh Lagoons in Lothian, and a Bonaparte's Gull at Hayling Island in Hampshire. Rarities included the Western Reef Heron in Gwynedd, a White-rumped Sandpiper in Nottinghamshire, Red-footed Falcons in Norfolk, Suffolk and County Louth, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, White-winged Scoters in Fife and County Galway, a Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, a Woodchat Shrike in Anglesey, and a Least Tern in County Dublin. |

| The new rarity today was a female White-winged Scoter at Killeenaran in County Galway.
Continuing rarities today included White-winged Scoter in Fife, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Western Reef Heron in Gwynedd, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Trumpeter Finch in County Wexford and Red-footed Falcon in Suffolk and County Louth. Other notable news today was belated news of a Gull-billed Tern at Pagham Harbour in West Sussex on the 27th of May. |

| New rarities today consisted of a Gull-billed Tern at Cley Marshes in Norfolk and a Rustic Bunting at Virkie in Shetland.
Rarities included a Western Reef Heron in Gwynedd, a Squacco Heron in Lincolnshire, a Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, a Blue-winged Teal in Somerset, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, Red-footed Falcons in Suffolk, Norfolk, and County Louth, a White-winged Scoter in Fife, a Bonaparte's Gull in Aberdeenshire, and a Least Tern in County Dublin. |

| The find of the day today was an astonishing Western Reef Heron at Foryd Bay in Gwynedd.
The new rarity was a Squacco Heron at Crowland in Lincolnshire. Rarities included a a Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, a Greenish Warbler in Shetland, a King Eider in Shetland, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, Red-footed Falcons in County Louth and Suffolk, a White-winged Scoter in Fife, a Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, a Woodchat Shrike in Anglesey, a Bonaparte's Gull in Aberdeenshire, and a Red-breasted Flycatcher in Highland. |

| The new rarities today included a 1st Summer Bonaparte's Gull on the Ythan Estuary in Aberdeenshire, a male Pallid Harrier in flight at Skomer in Pembrokeshire, Greenish Warbler on Mainland in Shetland, Red-throated Pipit on Unst in Shetland and a male Red-footed Falcon at Strumpshaw Fen RSPB in Norfolk.

| The new rarities today included two Black Kites at Holt in Norfolk and West Buckland in Somerset, two female Red-footed Falcons at Walberswick in Norfolk and Hutton Buscel in North Yorkshire, a Greenish Warbler at Langdon Cliffs NT in Kent, a returning Least Tern in the Little Tern colony at Portrane in County Dublin and a likely returning drake Black Duck at Cross Lough in County Mayo.

| A Baird's Sandpiper was found on the Ythan Estuary in Aberdeenshire this afternoon but then relocated to Meikle Loch. On Shetland, there was a new Western Subalpine Warbler near Boddam on the Mainland.
The Trumpeter Finch was seen again on Great Saltee in County Wexford. Other lingering rarities included White-winged Scoter in Fife, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, King Eider in Shetland, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Red-footed Falcons in Kent and County Louth, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Blue-winged Teal and Great Reed Warbler in Somerset and Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham. |
