  New rarities today consisted of a Gull-billed Tern at Cley Marshes in Norfolk and a Rustic Bunting at Virkie in Shetland.

Rarities included a Western Reef Heron in Gwynedd, a Squacco Heron in Lincolnshire, a Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, a Blue-winged Teal in Somerset, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, Red-footed Falcons in Suffolk, Norfolk, and County Louth, a White-winged Scoter in Fife, a Bonaparte's Gull in Aberdeenshire, and a Least Tern in County Dublin.
