  The new rarity today was a Black Kite in flight over East Carleton in Norfolk.

Continuing rarities today included White-winged Scoter in Fife, King Eider in Shetland, Ferruginous Duck in Hertfordshire, Kentish Plover in Cumbria, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Red-footed Falcon in County Louth, Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland and, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and Great Reed Warbler in Somerset.
