| There were two new rarities today, a Red-footed Falcon was found at Holt Heath in Dorset and a Bonaparte's Gull was at Leighton Moss in Lancashire.
Lingering rarities included two White-winged Scoters in Fife (although the Black Scoter was not seen today), Kentish Plover in Cornwall, Red-footed Falcon in Yorkshire, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Staffordshire, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and the Rustic Bunting put in another appearance on Papa Westray in the Orkneys. In East Sussex, the Eastern Subalpine Warbler was seen briefly in the morning but not later. |
