  New rarities today consisted of a Rustic Bunting at Papa Westray in Orkney and a Kentish Plover at Marazion in Cornwall.

Rarities included a Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire, White-winged Scoters in Fife, a Black Scoter in Fife, a Bonaparte's Gull in Staffordshire and County Donegal, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, an Eastern Subalpine Warbler in East Sussex, a Red-footed Falcon in East Yorkshire, a Pacific Diver in County Mayo, a King Eider in Highland, a Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, a Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford, a Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, and an Iberian Chiffchaff in Suffolk.
