  The new rarities today included a West Siberian Stonechat at South Shields in County Durham and Richardson's Cackling Goose at Bellanoch in Argyll.

Continuing rarities today included White-winged Scoter in Fife, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, Spotted Sandpipers in East Sussex (2), Kentish Plover in Bedfordshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, County Donegal and Dorset, Elegant Tern in County Galway, Iberian Chiffchaff in Suffolk and County Durham, Lesser Kestrel in Cornwall and Red-footed Falcon in Suffolk.
