  The mega today was a beautiful adult male Lesser Kestrel at Croft Pascoe Woods in Cornwall.

The new rarities consisted of a Western Bonelli's Warbler at Lundy in Devon, Red-footed Falcon at Stodmarsh, Kent, a Great Reed Warbler at Lakenheath Fen in Suffolk, a Red-throated Pipit at Pilning Wetland in Gloucestershire, Bonaparte's Gull at Rainham Marshes in London, and two Red-rumped Swallows at Flamborough in East Yorkshire.

Continuing rarities included King Eider in Shetland, Elegant Tern in County Galway, Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire, Marsh Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall and Dorset, Whiskered Tern in Cornwall, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and Suffolk, and Tawny Pipit and Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk.

Thursday 30th April 2026  
  The new rarities today included a drake Black Scoter at Filey in North Yorkshire, Gull-billed Tern in flight past North Foreland in Kent, a Great Reed Warbler at Titchwell RSPB in Norfolk, a Red-rumped Swallow at The Naze in Essex and Western Subalpine Warblers on both North Ronaldsey in Orkney and a likely bird on Tiree in Argyll.

Continuing rarities today included, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire, Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, Marsh Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall and Dorset, Whiskered Tern in Cornwall, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and Tawny Pipit in Suffolk.

Wednesday 29th April 2026  
  New rarities today consisted of a Whiskered Tern at Walmsley Sanctuary, Cornwall, Tawny Pipit at Landguard NR, Suffolk, Black Kites at Liston, Essex, Hintlesham and Glemsford, Suffolk, and at Poole Harbour, Dorset, Bonaparte's Gull at Weymouth, Dorset, and Olive-backed Pipit at Fair Isle, Shetland.

Rarities included Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and County Antrim, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Iberian Chiffchaffs in Suffolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, King Eider in Shetland, Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire, Marsh Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, and Elegant Tern in County Galway.

Tuesday 28th April 2026  
  The new rarity today was a Black Kite at Manby, Lincolnshire.

Rarities included Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Iberian Chiffchaffs in County Durham, Suffolk, and the Western Isles, King Eider in Highland and Shetland, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall and Dorset, Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk, Marsh Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, Forster's Tern in Dorset, and Elegant Tern in County Galway.

Monday 27th April 2026  
  Todays new mega came in the form of a dark morph Booted Eagle in flight over Porthgwarra in Cornwall.

New rarities today included a Sardinian Warbler on the Skellig Islands in County Kerry, a Marsh Sandpiper on the Ythan Estuary in Aberdeenshire, an Iberian Chiffchaff on Barra in the Western Isles and likely the same Red-rumped Swallow which passed south through Grimston and then Spurn in East Yorkshire.

Continuing rarities today included Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Blue-winged Teal in County Clare (2), Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, King Eider in Shetland, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and County Antrim, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, Elegant Tern in County Galway, Western Subalpine Warbler in County Cork, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and Suffolk and Dusky Warbler in Cornwall.

Other news from yesterday was of an Eastern Subalpine Warbler trapped and ringed on Lundy in Devon.

  New rarities today consisted of a Bonaparte's Gull at Branston Island, Lincolnshire, Red-footed Falcon at Reculver, Kent, and Lesser Yellowlegs at Aldeburgh, Suffolk.

Rarities included Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Black Scoter in Fife, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Iberian Chiffchaffs in County Durham and Suffolk, King Eider in Shetland, Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire and Warwickshire, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, Blue-winged Teals in County Clare, Bonaparte's Gull in Dorset, and Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk.

  New rarities today consisted of a Black Kite at Redditch, Worcestershire, Western Subalpine Warbler at Toe Head, County Cork, and Tawny Pipit at Beddington Farmlands, London.

Rarities included a Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Black Scoter in Fife, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Iberian Chiffchaffs in County Durham and Suffolk, King Eider in Shetland, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire and Warwickshire, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, Blue-winged Teals in County Clare, Bonaparte's Gull in Dorset, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, and Double-crested Cormorant in County Sligo.

  The new rarities today included Olive-backed Pipit at Great Saltee in County Wexford, a second Bonaparte's Gull at Seaton in Devon, a Kentish Plover between Marazion and Penzance in Cornwall and an Alpine Swift on St Mary's in Scilly.

Continuing rarities today included Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, White-winged Scoter in Fife (2), Black Scoter in Fife, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Blue-winged Teals in County Clare (2), King Eider in Shetland, Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire, Bonaparte's Gulls in Devon (2) and Dorset, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk (2), Western Subalpine Warbler in County Wexford, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and Suffolk, Hume's Warbler in Warwickshire and Suffolk and Dusky Warbler in Cornwall.

  Todays new megas came in the form of a dark morph Eleonora's Falcon in flight over Dersingham Bog NNR in Norfolk, and a Elegant Tern at Lob Island in County Galway.

The new rarities today included a Bonaparte's Gull at Seaton Marshes in Devon, a Pallid Harrier in flight at Sharpness in Gloucestershire and a Savi's Warbler at Levington Creek in Suffolk.

Continuing rarities today included Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, White-winged Scoters in Fife (2) and Lothian, King Eider in Shetland, Blue-winged Teals in County Clare (2), Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk (2), Iberian Chiffchaff in Suffolk and County Durham, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Dusky Warbler in Cornwall.

Other news from yesterday was of an Subalpine Warbler species at Pendeen in Cornwall.

  New rarities today consisted of a Red-rumped Swallow at Nunnery Lakes, Thetford, Norfolk, two Blue-winged Teals at Ballycar, County Clare, an additional White-winged Scoter at Methil, Fife, Black Kites at St.David's, Pembrokeshire and at West Hill, Devon, and Black Stork at Badlesmere, Kent.

Rarities included a Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Warwickshire, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Black Scoter in Fife, Stejneger's Scoters in Fife, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Iberian Chiffchaffs in County Durham and Suffolk, King Eider in Highland and Shetland, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Bonaparte's Gull in County Wexford, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, and a Pallid Harrier in Highland.
