  New rarities today consisted of a Black Kite at Ashton, Cornwall, Pallid Harrier at Nybster, Highland, and King Eider at Lerwick harbour, Shetland.

Rarities included Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Lancashire, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Warwickshire, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Black Scoter in Fife, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Iberian Chiffchaff in Suffolk, Black Kite in Cornwall, Forster's Tern in Dorset, and Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk.

Monday 20th April 2026  
  The new rarities today included Black Scoter in flight at Methil in Fife, a Black Kite in flight at Hook-with-Warsash in Hampshire and a Kentish Plover briefly at Rye Harbour in Kent.

Continuing rarities today included American Bittern in County Cork, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Lesser Scaup in Shropshire, Ferruginous Duck in Hertfordshire and Warwickshire, Richardson's Cackling Goose on Western Isles (2), Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus and County Wexford, Bonaparte's Gull in County Wexford, Western Subalpine Warbler in County Wexford, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and Suffolk, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Black Kite in Cornwall.

Significant news from the 13th of April was of a Little Crake in Cleveland at Coatham Marsh.

Sunday 19th April 2026  
  New rarities today included Red-rumped Swallows at Spurn, East Yorkshire and at Aldbrough, East Yorkshire, Bonaparte's Gull at Swineham Point, Dorset, Black Kites at Land's End, Cornwall and at Sennen, Cornwall, and White-winged Scoter at Seacliff, Lothian.

Rarities included Lesser Scaups in Hertfordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and County Antrim, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Warwickshire, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Bonaparte's Gull in Dorset and County Wexford, White-winged Scoter in Fife and Lothian, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Iberian Chiffchaffs in Borders, County Durham and Suffolk, Black Kite in Cornwall, Ferruginous Duck in Hertfordshire, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, Western Subalpine Warblers in Cornwall, and County Wexford, Ashy-headed Wagtail in Anglesey, and American Bittern in County Cork.

  The new rarities today consisted of a Great Reed Warbler in East Yorkshire at Spurn, Ross's Gull at Titchwell RSPB in Norfolk, Ferruginous Duck at Maple Cross in Hertfordshire, Red-rumped Swallow at Old Harry in Dorset, Richardson's Cackling Goose at Balranald RSPB on the Western Isles, and an Ashy-headed Wagtail at Cors Ddyga on Anglesey.

Continuing rarities today included Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Lesser Scaups in Worcestershire (2) and Hertfordshire, Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Denbighshire, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall and County Wexford, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Iberian Chiffchaffs in County Durham, Suffolk, and Borders, and Hume's Warblers in Suffolk and Warwickshire.

Friday 17th April 2026  
  The new rarities today included two Iberian Chiffchaffs in Suffolk at Hollesley Marsh and Westleton, and a Western Subalpine Warbler at Housel Bay in Cornwall.

Continuing rarities today included Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Lesser Scaup in Worcestershire (2) and Hertfordshire, Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and Borders and Hume's Warbler in Suffolk.

Thursday 16th April 2026  
  The find of the day was a Booted Eagle at Lowestoft, Suffolk.

New rarities today included a Black Kite at Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, and Ferruginous Ducks at Bubbenhall, Warwickshire.

Rarities included Lesser Scaups in Hertfordshire, Surrey, Shropshire and Worcestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Warwickshire, Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall, Dorset and Essex, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Black-throated Thrush in Lothian, Iberian Chiffchaffs in Borders and County Durham, Black Kite in Highland, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, and American Bittern in County Cork.

  New rarities today consisted of a Lesser Scaup at Staines Reservoir, Surrey, Eastern Subalpine Warbler at Coquet Island, Northumberland, Black Kite at Brawlbin, Highland, and Iberian Chiffchaff at Pease Dean SWT, Borders.

Rarities included Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire and Shropshire, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Warwickshire, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall, Dorset and Essex, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Black-throated Thrush in Lothian, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, and American Bittern in County Cork.

Tuesday 14th April 2026  
  The new rarities today included an adult Bonaparte's Gull at Cardiff in Glamorgan, Lesser Yellowlegs at Leighton Moss in Lancashire, a juvenile Pallid Harrier west of Richmond in North Yorkshire and a Red-rumped Swallow at Sand Point in Somerset.

Continuing rarities today included Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire (2), Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall, Dorset, Essex and Lancashire, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Black-throated Thrush in Lothian.

Late news from yesterday also came in the shape of a new Red-rumped Swallow at Aberdaron in Gwynedd.

Monday 13th April 2026  
  The new rarities today were an Iberian Chiffchaff at Hardwick Hall Country Park, County Durham, and a Lesser Scaup at Wilstone Resr in Hertfordshire.

Rarities included Lesser Scaups in Shropshire and Worcestershire, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall, Dorset, Essex, Lancashire, and County Galway, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Black-throated Thrush in Lothian, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, and American Bittern and American Coot in County Cork and County Wexford respectively.

  New rarities today included a Black Kite at Skipwith Common, North Yorkshire, Black-throated Thrush at Danskine, Lothian, Bonaparte's Gulls at Ballyconneely, County Galway, at Abberton Reservoir, Essex, at Fishlake Meadows HIWWT, Hampshire, at Rainham Marshes RSPB, London, and at Bantry, County Cork, and Red-rumped Swallow at Minsmere RSPB, Suffolk.

Rarities included Lesser Scaups in Buckinghamshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Denbighshire, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Warwickshire, King Eider in Highland, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall, Lancashire, Essex and Shetland, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, and American Coot in County Cork and County Wexford respectively.
