  The new rarity today was a drake Lesser Scaup at Walton Reservoir in Surrey.

Continuing rarities today included Canvasback in Essex, Lesser Scaup in Essex (2), Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan/Carmarthenshire, Oriental Turtle Dove in County Antrim, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent.
