| The new rarity today was a Pallid Harrier seen flying over woodland near Berkeley, Gloucestershire.
Continuing rarities included Canvasback in Essex, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Scaup in County Cork and Worcestershire (2), Ferruginous Duck in County Tyrone and Warwickshire, Red-breasted Goose and Ross's Goose in Argyll, Spotted Sandpiper in County Waterford, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk, Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk and Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent. |
