  The highlight of the day was a new Lesser Scaup identified at Staines Reservoir, Surrey.

Elsewhere lingering rarities comprised of Black-winged Kite and Eastern Black Redstart in Norfolk, American Herring Gull in County Galway, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Bufflehead in County Kerry, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Pacific Diver and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim and Denbighshire, Lesser Scaup in County Cork, Leicestershire and Shropshire.
