| A Black Scoter was discovered off Bamburgh, Northumberland.
Lingering rarities included the Black-winged Kite and Eastern Black Redstart in Norfolk, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent, three Penduline Tits in both Gloucestershire and Somerset, Baikal Teal on the Glamorgan /Carmarthenshire border, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Black Scoter and King Eider in Highland, another King Eider in Shetland, Lesser Scaups in Cornwall (two), Surrey, County Wexford and Shropshire, Ross's Goose in Cumbria, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Denbighshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset and Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan. |
