| A Lesser Yellowlegs was a new discovery along the River Clwyd at Rhyl in Denbighshire. There was also belated confirmation of the Hume's Warbler at Oldbury in the West Midlands on Tuesday.
Lingering rarities included Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, three Penduline Tits in Gloucestershire, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, two Northern Harriers in County Wexford, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Donegal, Bufflehead in County Kerry, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Lesser Scaups in Cornwall (2), County Wexford, Western Isles, Shropshire, Essex and Surrey, Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk, Hertfordshire and Lincolnshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Spotted Sandpiper in County Waterford, Long-billed Dowitchers in Angus and County Wexford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, Eastern Black Redstarts in Norfolk and North Yorkshire, Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, at least one Zitting Cisticola still in Suffolk and the overwintering Hume's Warbler in Norfolk. |

Elsewhere in Britain rarities comprised two White-winged Scoters still in Lothian, Ross's Goose still in Argyll, Eastern Black Redstarts in both Norfolk and North Yorkshire, two Penduline Tits together in Gloucestershire, King Eiders in Highland and Shetland, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Ferruginous Ducks in Hertfordshire and Lincolnshire, and in Cornwall Pacific Diver, Lesser Yellowlegs and Lesser Scaup. In Ireland continuing rarities logged today were the Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Bufflehead in in County Kerry, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, and Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim. |
