  The new rarity today was aRoss's Gull in Kent at Swalecliffe.

Continuing rarities included Ross's Goose in Argyll, three Penduline Tits in Gloucestershire, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, King Eider in Highland, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Bufflehead in County Kerry, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Northern Harriers in County Wexford, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Spotted Sandpiper in County Waterford, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim and Cornwall, Eastern Black Redstarts in Norfolk and North Yorkshire, Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk, Hume's Warbler in Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, and Lesser Scaups in Cornwall (2), Essex, Shropshire, County Wexford and Carmarthenshire.
