| The mega highlight was a Killdeer at South Slob, County Wexford.
New rarities consisted of an Eastern Black Redstart at Scarborough, North Yorkshire; and Red-breasted Goose at Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex. Continuing rarities included Desert Wheatear in Dorset; Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim; Hume's Warblers in Bedfordshire and Norfolk; Kentish Plover in Somerset; King Eider in Shetland; Lesser Scaups in Essex and Western Isles; and Penduline Tit in Somerset. |
