  The new rarity today consisted of a King Eider at Scalloway, Shetland.

Continuing rarities included Blue-winged Teal in Cornwall; Bonaparte's Gull in County Galway; Desert Wheatear in Dorset; Dusky Warblers in Cornwall and Scilly; Hume's Warblers in Bedfordshire and Kent; Kentish Plover in Somerset; Lesser Scaups in County Wexford, Surrey, Cornwall, Leicestershire, and Western Isles; Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall; and Red-breasted Goose in Essex.

Late news: Harlequin Duck in County Donegal and Semipalmated Sandpiper at Quilty, County Clare.
