| New rarities included a Bonaparte's Gull at Gormanston, County Meath; Desert Wheatear at Wyke Regis, Dorset; Dusky Warbler at Elmley, Kent; Franklin's Gull at Vatersay, Western Isles; and Little Bittern at North Shields, Northumberland.
Continuing rarities included Black-faced Bunting in Shetland; Desert Wheatear in Dorset; Dusky Warblers in Norfolk and Scilly; Franklin's Gull in Western Isles; Hume's Warblers in Bedfordshire, East Yorkshire, Kent, and Norfolk; Kentish Plover in Somerset; Lesser Scaups in Leicestershire and Western Isles; Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall; Little Bittern in Northumberland; Northern Harrier in County Wexford; Red-breasted Goose in Essex; two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Donegal; Richardson's Cackling Goose in Cumbria; and White-winged Scoter in Lothian. |
