  New discoveries today included a Black-browed Albatross off Titchwell, Norfolk, an Olive-backed Pipit at Spurn, Yorkshire and a Pacific Diver at Elly Bay, County Mayo. New Hume's Warblers were found at Kingsdown, Kent and Holkham, Caister and Winterton, all Norfolk, and Dusky Warblers were found at The Garrison, Scilly, Falmouth, Cornwall, Caister, Norfolk and Seapoint, County Dublin.

Lingering rarities included the Isabelline Shrike species in Suffolk, Hume's Warblers in Dorset, Norfolk (two) and Yorkshire, Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire, Blue-winged Teal and Lesser Scaup in Cornwall (two), further Lesser Scaups in Surrey and County Wexford (two), Ross's Goose in Aberdeenshire, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim, Kentish Plover in Somerset and Spotted Sandpiper in County Waterford.
