  An spectacular day with discoveries including a Yellow-browed Bunting in Dorset at Abbotsbury, in Shetland a Siberian Thrush at Scatsta, Mainland, and a Radde's Warbler on Unst, a Swainson's Thrush in County Donegal at Malin More, a Grey-cheeked Thrush in Devon on Lundy, a Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare at Aughinish, and a Black Kite at Lehanmore, County Cork.

Elsewhere, continuing rarities comprised the Western Sandpiper still in Ayrshire, Isabelline Wheatear in Cornwall, Paddyfield Warbler and Spotted Sandpiper in the Isles of Scilly, Lesser Grey Shrike in Norfolk, Marsh Sandpiper in Lothian, Siberian Stonechat in County Durham, Citrine Wagtail and Hornemann's Redpoll in Shetland, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, and Lesser Yellowlegs in both Cambridgeshire and County Louth.<
