| New rarities consisted of a Little Bittern at Weymouth in Dorset, Semipalmated Sandpipers at Muckross Estuary in Clonakilty, Co.Cork, a Pallid Harrier in the Blakeney area in Norfolk, and a White-rumped Sandpiper at The Gearagh in Co.Cork.
Continuing rarities included a Baird's Sandpiper at St.Kilda in Western Isles, a Bonaparte's Gull at Kinnegar Shore in Co.Down, a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Bryher in Scilly, a Western Sandpiper at Maidens in Ayrshire, a Marsh Sandpiper at Musselburgh Lagoons in Lothian, a Lesser Grey Shrike at Winterton North Dunes in Norfolk, Siberian Stonechats at Grimston in East Yorkshire and at Hawthorn Dene in Co.Durham, a Brown Shrike at North Aywick on Yell in Shetland, an Isabelline Wheatear at Land's End Airport in Cornwall, a Dusky Warbler at Kilnsea in East Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs at Loughor in Glamorgan and at Etton Maxey Pits in Cambridgeshire, a White-winged Scoter at Musselburgh Lagoons in Lothian, a Blue-winged Teal on Mainland in Shetland, and a Laughing Gull at Trabeg in Co.Kerry. |
