  New rarities of the day were a Baird's Sandpiper at Myroe Levels in County Derry, a Great Snipe on Fair Isle, a Greenish Warbler trapped and ringed on Fair Isle, a Black-headed Bunting on Bryher, and Fea's Petrels at Porthgwarra in Cornwall, off Pendeen Watch in Cornwall and off Whitburn Coastal Park in County Durham.

Continuing rarities included a Black-winged Kite still at Hickling Broad in Norfolk, a Ferruginous Duck still at Filby Broad in Norfolk, a White-rumped Sandpiper still at Tacumshin in County Wexford, a Baird's Sandpiper still at Siblyback Lake in Cornwall, a Marsh Sandpiper still at Musselburgh Lagoons in Lothian, and a Black Kite still at Drift Reservoir in Cornwall.
