  An Arctic Warbler at Great Wigborough in Essex was the standout bird of the day.

Also noted were a Black Kite at Leighton Moss RSPB in Lancashire, a Pallid Swift at Orford in Suffolk, and a Baird's Sandpiper at Eyebrook Reservoir in Leicestershire.

Continuing rarities included a Zitting Cisticola near Walberswick in Suffolk, White-rumped Sandpipers at East Chevington NWT in Northumberland and at Tacumshin in County Wexford, a Black Stork at Boyton Marshes RSPB in Suffolk, Lesser Scaups at Belvide Reservoir in Staffordshire, a Western Bonelli's Warbler on Lundy in Devon, a Baird's Sandpiper at Loch Paible on North Uist in the Western Isles, and a Bonaparte's Gull at Oare Marshes KWT in Kent.
