  The highlights of the day was the discovery of a pratincole species in Northumberland at East Chevington, whilst a Bonaparte's Gull was confirmed in Aberdeenshire at Inverallochy.

Elsewhere, lingering rarities today comprised at least one Zitting Cisticola and the Black Stork in Suffolk, Eastern Subalpine Warbler still in Shetland, Long-billed Dowitcher still in County Wexford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and White-rumped Sandpipers in both Norfolk and East Yorkshire (2).
