Discoveries today included a Spotted Sandpiper in Cambridgeshire at Dernford Farm Reservoir, Semipalmated Sandpiper in the Isles of Scilly on St Mary's, and White-rumped Sandpiper in Shetland on Foula, whilst seawatchers logged in Cornwall a Barolo Shearwater at Cape Cornwall, and in Kent a Laughing Gull at North Foreland.
Rarities confirmed as still present were the Least Tern in County Dublin, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Caspian Tern in Norfolk, territorial Savi's Warbler in Lincolnshire, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Borders, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and Ferruginous Duck in Leicestershire. |
