Other new rarities included an Alpine Swift in Cardiff, Glamorgan, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Cork at Clogheen Marsh, Red-footed Falcons in Suffolk at Dunwich Heath and Kent at Stodmarsh, and Spotted Sandpiper at Chew Valley Lake, Somerset.

Lingering rarities included the Collared Flycatcher in Western Isles, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, American Black Tern in Northumberland and Red-footed Falcon in Kent.
