  Discoveries today included an Eastern Subalpine Warbler in East Yorkshire at Spurn, a Black Kite in Kent at Stodmarsh, and in Norfolk an Iberian Chiffchaff at Blakeney Point and a Pallid Harrier at Strumpshaw Fen.

Elsewhere rarities comprised the Hudsonian Godwit still in Hampshire, White-winged Scoter still in Fife, Pacific Diver in County Donegal, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Iberian Wagtail in Somerset at Steart, territorial Great Reed Warblers in both Cambridgeshire and East Yorkshire, Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire and Warwickshire, and single Red-footed Falcons in each of Cornwall, Kent, Oxfordshire, and East Sussex.
