Tuesday 6th May 2025  
  The highlight of the day was a Solitary Sandpiper on the Western Isles at Butt of Lewis, Lewis where it been first been photographed yesterday.

Rarities elsewhere comprised a White-winged Scoter still in Fife, Spotted Sandpiper and Great Reed Warbler both still in Cambridgeshire, territorial Savi's Warbler still in Cornwall, two Lesser Yellowlegs in North Yorkshire, a Red-rumped Swallow in Northumberland briefly at Weetslade, a Ferruginous Duck new in Somerset at Ham Wall, and a total of 14 Red-footed Falcons comprising singles in Bedfordshire, Cornwall, Hampshire, Norfolk, and Somerset, two in both Cambridgeshire and County Wexford, and five together in Suffolk.
