An exciting day with a dark morph Booted Eagle in Devon on Lundy, an Alpine Accentor briefly in East Yorkshire at Flamborough Head, a Franklin's Gull in Devon passing Prawle Point, an Eastern Subalpine Warbler in song in Pembrokeshire on Skokholm, a fly-over Black Kite in Cornwall at Launceston, and Red-rumped Swallows in County Cork, Gwynedd, Kent, and East Yorkshire.

Continuing rarities comprised the Broad-billed Sandpiper still in Gwent, Great Reed Warbler in song in Cambridgeshire, territorial Savi's Warblers in both Cornwall and Leicestershire, and two White-winged Scoters still together in Fife.

Significant late news for yesterday of a female Blue-winged Teal at Tophill Low, East Yorkshire.
