  In Cornwall, a Subalpine Warbler sp was found at Dobwalls, in Shetland a Eastern Subalpine Warbler was found on Foula, and a Caspian Tern was found in Kent at Swalecliffe.

Lingering rarities included the Baikal Teal in Hertfordshire, a Least Sandpiper which returned to West Sussex, Eastern Bonelli's Warbler in Shetland, Savi's Warblers in Cornwall and Nottinghamshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Hornemann's Redpoll in Gwynedd, Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Somerset (two), Bonaparte's Gull in Ceredigion, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo.
