| Two Iberian Chiffchaffs were found in a private area in County Waterford. A drake Lesser Scaup was found at Hornsea Mere in Yorkshire and a Bonaparte's Gull was a new discovery at Llanelli in Carmarthenshire. The Red-rumped Swallow influx continued with a bird found at Kynance Cove in Cornwall.
The Ferruginous Duck put in another appearance at Woolston Eyes in Cheshire and the pair of Ferruginous Ducks were still in Warwickshire. In West Sussex the Least Sandpiper continues its stay at Medmerry. Other lingering rarities included Lesser Scaups in the Western Isles, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Somerset, Ross's Goose and American Coot in Shetland, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and County Wexford, Subalpine Warbler sp in Dorset, Western Subalpine Warbler in County Cork and White-winged Scoter in Lothian. |
