| New discoveries today included a Forster's Tern off Morecambe, Lancashire, a Black Scoter off Rossbeigh, County Kerry, a Lesser Scaup at Chew Valley Lake, Somerset, a White-billed Diver off Lossiemouth, Moray and a Bonaparte's Gull at Stevenston Point, Ayrshire.
Lingering rarities included the White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Bufflehead in Shetland, Lesser Scaups in Dorset and Gloucestershire, two Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire, White-billed Diver in Aberdeenshire and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk. |
