  Rarities today comprised the Booted Eagle and Bonaparte's Gull both still in Cornwall, Black Scoter still in Wirral, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Glamorgan, and Lesser Scaups in both Clyde and County Wexford (2).

Tuesday 11th March 2025  
  Rarities today comprised the Booted Eagle still in Cornwall, Bufflehead still in Shetland, Black Scoter still in the Wirral, Black Duck and Richardson's Cackling Goose together in County Mayo, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall, Glamorgan, and County Galway, two Ferruginous Ducks together in Warwickshire, and Lesser Scaups in Clyde and the Western Isles.

Monday 10th March 2025  
  Single Bonaparte's Gulls were found on the Ogmore Estuary in Glamorgan and at Ballyconneely in County Galway, whilst a White-biled Diver flew past Whitburn, County Durham.

Lingering rarities included the Booted Eagle in Cornwall, Double-crested Cormorant in County Sligo, American Coot, Bufflehead and Ross's Goose in Shetland, two White-winged Scoters in Lothian, Black Scoter in Wirral, Lesser Scaup in Clyde, Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire and Warwickshire (two), Red-breasted Goose in Cumbria, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Kentish Plover in Somerset and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk.

Sunday 9th March 2025  
  Rarities today comprised the Black Scoter still in the Wirral, Black Duck still in County Mayo, Red-breasted Goose in Cumbria, Pallid Harriers in both County Cork and Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Donegal, two Ferruginous Ducks together in Warwickshire, and Lesser Scaups in Clyde and County Wexford (2).

Saturday 8th March 2025  
  On the border of County Leitrim and County Longford a Lesser Scaup was found at Drumshanbo Lough. In Lothian there was a new White-billed Diver in Gullane Bay.

Lingering rarities included the Booted Eagle in Cornwall, Pacific Diver in County Cork, White-winged Scoters in Lothian and Fife, Black Scoter on The Wirral, Bufflehead in Shetland, Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Devon, Clyde and County Wexford (2) Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk.

Friday 7th March 2025  
  Lingering rarities included the Booted Eagle in Cornwall, White-winged Scoters in Lothian and Fife, Bufflehead in Shetland, Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Perthshire and Clyde, Ferruginous Ducks in Cheshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, Pallid Harrier in Pembrokeshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall.

  A King Eider was reported from Portobello, Lothian.

Lingering rarities included the Booted Eagle in Cornwall, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Black Scoter in Wirral, Bufflehead in Shetland, Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Devon, Essex and Clyde, Ferruginous Ducks in Hampshire and Cheshire, Least Sandpiper and Kentish Plover in Somerset, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk and Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall.

Wednesday 5th March 2025  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Black Scoter in Wirral at Hoylake.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present comprised Booted Eagle and Bonaparte's Gull both still in Cornwall, Red-breasted Goose and Richardson's Cackling Goose together in Argyll, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, Ferruginous Duck in Cheshire, Lesser Scaups in County Cork, Devon, and County Wexford, and Marbled Duck in Worcestershire.

  Rarities today comprised Booted Eagle and Bonaparte's Gull both still in Cornwall, Bufflehead still in Shetland, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Pacific Diver in County Cork, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, two Lesser Scaups together in County Wexford, and Ferruginous Ducks in Cheshire and Hampshire.

  Rarities today comprised the Booted Eagle still in Cornwall, American Coot and Bufflehead both still in Shetland, two White-winged Scoters together in Lothian, Least Sandpiper in Somerset, Black-throated Thrush and Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Marbled Duck in Worcestershire, Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Essex, County Sligo, and County Wexford (2), and in Orkney the Long-billed Dowitcher returned to North Ronaldsay.

Disappointing news from Gwynedd where the Indo-Pacific White Tern taken into care recently at Llanberis has died.
