  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Black Scoter in Wirral at Hoylake.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present comprised Booted Eagle and Bonaparte's Gull both still in Cornwall, Red-breasted Goose and Richardson's Cackling Goose together in Argyll, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, Ferruginous Duck in Cheshire, Lesser Scaups in County Cork, Devon, and County Wexford, and Marbled Duck in Worcestershire.
