| Rarities today comprised the Booted Eagle still in Cornwall, American Coot and Bufflehead both still in Shetland, two White-winged Scoters together in Lothian, Least Sandpiper in Somerset, Black-throated Thrush and Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Marbled Duck in Worcestershire, Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Essex, County Sligo, and County Wexford (2), and in Orkney the Long-billed Dowitcher returned to North Ronaldsay.
Disappointing news from Gwynedd where the Indo-Pacific White Tern taken into care recently at Llanberis has died. |
