  The highlight of the day was the discovery of an Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Lincolnshire at Winteringham.

Rarities elsewhere comprised Booted Eagle and Pacific Diver both still in Cornwall, American Coot still in Shetland, Least Sandpiper and Kentish Plover in Somerset, Red-breasted Goose and Richardson's Cackling Goose together in Argyll, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Pembrokeshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, and Lesser Scaups in Derbyshire, Devon, Dorset, and Essex.
