| Rarities today comprised Booted Eagle and Pacific Diver both still in Cornwall, American Coot, Bufflehead, Ross's Goose, and White-billed Diver all still in Shetland, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Least Sandpiper in Somerset, Penduline Tit in Cheshire, Red-breasted Goose in Argyll, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Pembrokeshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire and London, Lesser Scaups in Derbyshire, Devon, Dorset, and Essex, and Richardson's Cackling Geese in Argyll, Dumfries & Galloway, and County Sligo.
