| Rarities today comprised both the Grey-headed Lapwing and White-billed Diver still in Northumberland, Least Sandpiper and Kentish Plover still in Somerset, Pallid Harriers in both County Cork and Pembrokeshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Lesser Scaup in Essex, Ferruginous Ducks in Hertfordshire, London, and Warwickshire (2), and in Aberdeenshire a probable Thayer's Gull was at Peterhead.
Significant news for yesterday was that the Scops Owl was showing again in Kent at Broadstairs overnight. |
