One new rarity was found today, a Penduline Tit at Ouse Fen in Cambridgeshire.

The Grey-headed Lapwing remained in Northumberland and seems to be settling down and the Baikal Teal was again present in Somerset. Other lingering rarities included the American Coot in Shetland, Lesser Scaups in County Wexford (two), Staffordshire and Cambridgeshire, Ferruginous Ducks in Hertfordshire, Warwickshire and Lincolnshire, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and County Cork, and Hume's Warbler in Kent.
