| The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the Pacific Diver in County Cork at Crookhaven; its eighth winter at this location.
Continuing rarities comprised both the American Coot and Bufflehead still in Shetland, Hume's Warbler in Kent, Pallid Harrier in County Cork, White-rumped Sandpiper in Suffolk, both White-billed Diver and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, Ferruginous Ducks in Lincolnshire and Warwickshire, and Lesser Scaups in Somerset, Staffordshire, and County Wexford. |
