  New rarities today consisted of a White-rumped Sandpiper at Minsmere, Suffolk, a Ferruginous Duck at Bluntisham in Cambridgeshire and a Lesser Scaup at Blagdon Lake

Elsewhere continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Grey-headed Lapwing in Northumberland, American Coot in Shetland, Hume's Warbler in Kent, Dusky Warbler in Devon and Scilly, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Lesser Scaups in Cambridgeshire and Fife, and Ferruginous Ducks in Hertfordshire and Warwickshire.
