  Discoveries today included a Pied Wheatear in Sussex at Seaford Head, a Penduline Tit in Cheshire at Woolston Eyes, White-billed Diver in Western Isles at Butt of Lewis, a Pallid Swift in Argyll at Coullabus, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall at Skewjack Farm, and in County Clare, a Pacific Diver at Black Head, County Clare.

Elsewhere, lingering rarities included the probable Amur Stonechat in Suffolk, Ferruginous Ducks in London, Lincolnshire and Warwickshire, Lesser Scaups in Devon, Staffordshire and Fife, Long-billed Dowitchers in Orkney and Norfolk, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, White-rumped Sandpipers in Devon, Pallid Harrier in Devon, Rough-legged Buzzard in Cornwall, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, and Eyebrowed Thrush in Orkney.

Friday 8th November 2024  
  The headline birds were, once again, on North Ronaldsay in Orkney, with a Brown Booby off Seal Skerry and a Red-throated Pipit over Nether Linnay.

Elsewhere, lingering rarities included the probable Amur Stonechat in Suffolk, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Ferruginous Ducks in London and Warwickshire, Lesser Scaups in County Wexford (two), Staffordshire and Fife, Long-billed Dowitchers in County Cork and Norfolk, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, White-rumped Sandpipers in Devon, Gloucestershire and Western Isles (two), Pallid Harriers in Devon and Norfolk and Bonaparte's Gull in Highland.

Thursday 7th November 2024  
  An excellent Eyebrowed Thrush was a superb find on North Ronaldsay in Orkney today, the fourth record for the island.

Lingering rarities included White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Scaups in Fife, Devon, Staffordshire and County Donegal, Ferruginous Ducks in London and Lincolnshire, Pallid Harriers in Devon and Norfolk, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, White-rumped Sandpipers in Devon, Gloucestershire, County Donegal (2) and County Derry (2+), Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, Hume's Warbler in East Yorkshire and probable Amur Stonechat in Suffolk.

Wednesday 6th November 2024  
  Discoveries today included a Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall at Penzance, a Lesser Scaup in Highland at Mellon Udrigle, Dusky Warbler in Western Isles at Benbecula, a Dusky Warbler in East Yorkshire at Bempton, and in Lincolnshire, a Ferruginous Duck at Tallington, Lincolnshire.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Desert Wheatear in East Sussex, Eastern Stonechat species in Suffolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Highland, Hume's Warbler in East Yorkshire, Pallid Harriers in Devon and Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon, Orkney, and Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpipers in Devon, County Derry(3), Western Isles(4), Ferruginous Ducks in London and Warwickshire, and Lesser Scaups in Fife, Staffordshire, and Devon.

Tuesday 5th November 2024  
  Discoveries today included a Lesser Grey Shrike in Northumberland at Amble, a Hume's Warbler in East Yorkshire at Easington, an Olive-backed Pipit on the Shetland Isles on Fair Isle, and in Kent a Long-billed Dowitcher at Cliffe Pools, Kent (here it was first seen yesterday).

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Northern Harrier in County Wexford, White-winged Scoter in Shetland, Desert Wheatear in East Sussex, Eastern Stonechat species in Suffolk, Pallid Harriers in Devon and Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpipers in Devon and County Cork, Ferruginous Ducks in London and Warwickshire, and Lesser Scaups in Fife, Staffordshire, and County Wexford (2).

Monday 4th November 2024  
  New discoveries today included a Stejneger's Scoter off Craigielaw, Lothian, Lesser Scaups at Beesands, Devon and Cahore, County Wexford (the latter joining the long staying two), Pallid Swifts at Donna Nook, Lincolnshire and Tiumpan Head, Western Isles, a White-rumped Sandpiper at Myroe, County Derry, a Black Kite at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk and a White-billed Diver off Portknockie, Moray.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Northern Harrier, Long-billed Dowitcher and White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford, further Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon, Norfolk and Orkney, further White-rumped Sandpipers in County Donegal (three), Devon and Gloucestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Wiltshire, Canvasback in Essex, Ferruginous Ducks in London and Warwickshire, Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire and Fife, Bonaparte's Gull in Highland, Pallid Harriers in Devon and Norfolk, Desert Wheatear in Sussex and a probable Amur Stonechat in Suffolk.

Sunday 3rd November 2024  
  The highlight of the day was an Eastern Stonechat species in Suffolk at Trimley Marshes whilst elsewhere a Lesser Scaup was new in Fife at Dalgety Bay, White-billed Diver on the Shetland Isles on Fetlar, and White-rumped Sandpipers in County Donegal at Lough Swilly (3) and Western Isles on South Uist.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Canvasback in Essex, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, White-winged Scoters in Angus and Lothian, Desert Wheatear in East Sussex, Pallid Harriers in Devon and Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitchers in Norfolk, Orkney Isles, and County Wexford, White-rumped Sandpipers in Devon, County Londonderry, and Pembrokeshire, Lesser Yellowlegs on the Isles of Scilly and Wiltshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Highland, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, and Ferruginous Ducks in London and Warwickshire.

Saturday 2nd November 2024  
  On the Oxfordshire/Berkshire border, the dark morph Booted Eagle was once again present near Henley-on-Thames for its third day, although it wasn't seen after late morning.

New discoveries today included a Pallid Harrier at Cadover Bridge in Devon, a White-rumped Sandpiper at Skokholm Island, Pembrokeshire, a Ferruginous Duck at Baston +Langtoft Pits, Lincolnshire, and a Fea's Petrel at North Ronaldsay, Orkney.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Canvasback in Essex, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Ferruginous Ducks in London and Warwickshire, Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire and Perth +Kinross, Northern Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Wexford and County Derry(two), Red-rumped Swallow and Lesser Yellowlegs on Scilly, Long-billed Dowitcher and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Radde's Warbler in Scilly and Desert Wheatear in Sussex.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Canvasback in Essex, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Ferruginous Ducks in London and Warwickshire (two), Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Black Duck and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo, Blue-winged Teal and Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Cork and Western Isles (two), Lesser Yellowlegs in Scilly and Wiltshire, Long-billed Dowitcher and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Radde's Warbler in Scilly and Desert Wheatear in Sussex.

Thursday 31st October 2024  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Slate-coloured Junco in Cornwall near Helston with an Olive-backed Pipit new at Porthgwarra. Discoveries elsewhere comprised a Blyth's Reed Warbler in County Mayo on Achill Island, and a White-rumped Sandpiper at Northwick Warth, Gloucestershire.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Desert Wheatear in East Sussex, Northern Harrier and Blue-winged Teal together in County Wexford, Canvasback in Essex, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Black Duck and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo, Red-flanked Bluetail, Radde's Warbler, Dusky Warbler, and Lesser Yellowlegs all on the Isles of Scilly, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Long-billed Dowitchers in London and Norfolk, two White-rumped Sandpipers together in County Londonderry, Dusky Warbler in County Cork, Bonaparte's Gull in Highland, and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire.
