| New discoveries today included a Barolo Shearwater off Cape Cornwall, Cornwall, a Fea's Petrel species off the Scillonian between Cornwall and Scilly, an Isabelline Shrike species at Sandwich Bay, Kent, a Radde's Warbler at Skirza, Highland, a Dusky Warbler at Burnmouth, Borders, a Red-rumped Swallow at Kettleness, Yorkshire and a Ferruginous Duck at Willen Lake, Buckinghamshire.
Lingering rarities still present included the American Robin and Booted Warbler in Orkney, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Cork, Arctic Warbler and Red-flanked Bluetail in Yorkshire, Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, Greenish Warbler and White-winged Scoter in Shetland, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Scilly and Essex, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife and Long-billed Dowitcher and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk. |
