  In Cornwall, the Booted Eagle was seen a few times in the St Just area.

New discoveries today included an Isabelline Wheatear on The Garrison and a Black Kite over St Agnes then St Mary's, Scilly, an Iberian Chiffchaff at Mizen Head and a Black Kite on Cape Clear, County Cork, an Olive-backed Pipit at Sullom, Shetland, a Red-breasted Goose at Loch Gruinart, Argyll, a Pallid Harrier over Osborne Bay, Isle of Wight then Southampton Water, Hampshire and a Ferruginous Duck at Stanford Reservoir on the Leicestershire /Northamptonshire border. A White-winged Scoter was identified at Wadbister, Shetland.

Lingering rarities included the Little Crake in Pembrokeshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and Orkney, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Paddyfield Warbler and Greenish Warbler in Shetland, two Olive-backed Pipits in Scilly, two Eastern Stonechats in Northumberland, Canvasback in Essex, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Northern Harrier in County Wexford and Pallid Harriers in Norfolk, Yorkshire and Pembrokeshire.
