  Eastern passerines continued to arrive with now an Eastern Crowned Warbler on the Shetland Isles on Mainland at Turriefield, Two-barred Greenish Warbler still in North Yorkshire, Pallas's Grasshopper Warblers on Shetland on Unst and on the Orkney Isles on North Ronaldsay, also Lanceolated Warblers on both Orkney and Shetland, an Isabelline Shrike species new in East Yorkshire at Bempton Cliffs, Radde's Warbler and Greenish Warbler in Norfolk, Arctic Warbler in East Yorkshire, Olive-backed Pipits in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, Dusky Warblers in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Lincolnshire, Rustic Bunting and Red-flanked Bluetail in East Yorkshire at Flamborough Head, Coues's Redpoll on Shetland, and Eastern Stonechat species in Cleveland, Norfolk, Northumberland, and Shetland.

Otherwise the Western Bonelli's Warbler remained on the Isles of Scilly, Semipalmated Sandpiper and Long-billed Dowitcher were together in Devon at Dawlish Warren, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Red-footed Falcon in Pembrokeshire on Skokholm, Lesser Yellowlegs in Gloucestershire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.

  New discoveries today included an Eastern Olivaceous Warbler at Flamborough Head, East Yorkshire, Two-barred Greenish Warbler at Saltwick Bay, North Yorkshire, Olive-backed Pipits at Thornwick Bay, North Yorkshire, and Gibraltar Point, Lincolnshire, Semipalmated Sandpiper at Dawlish Warren in Devon, Red-rumped Swallow on Kennack Sands, Cornwall, Arctic Warbler and Dusky Warbler at Spurn in East Yorkshire.

Lingering rarities included the Pale-legged Leaf Warbler and Arctic Warbler in East Yorkshire, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk and Yorkshire, Baird's Sandpiper in County Wexford, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Western Bonelli's Warbler on Scilly, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Gloucestershire, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Lincolnshire, and Canvasback in Essex.

  New discoveries today included Radde's Warblers on the Isle of May, Fife, and in Norfolk at Holkham, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Downpatrick, County Down, a Isabelline Shrike, Black-headed Bunting, Coues's Redpoll, Eastern Yellow Wagtail, and Arctic Warbler at Fair Isle, Shetland, a Blyth's Reed Warbler on Blakeney Point, Norfolk, a Crag Martin at St.Catherine's Point on Isle of Wight, and a Bonaparte's Gull at Carne, County Wexford.

Lingering rarities included the Pale-legged Leaf Warbler, Arctic Warbler and Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire, Baird's Sandpiper in County Donegal, Brown Shrikes in both Orkney and Shetland, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford, Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Black-winged Stilt in Devon, Forster's Tern in Dorset, and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire.

Monday 30th September 2024  
  New discoveries today included a Baird's Sandpiper at Carne, County Wexford, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Pilning Wetland, Gloucestershire, a Black-winged Stilt at Exminster Marshes, Devon and a White-billed Diver off Whitburn, County Durham, whilst the Forster's Tern returned to Poole Harbour, Dorset.

Lingering rarities included the Pale-legged Leaf Warbler, Arctic Warbler and Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire, Pechora Pipit and an Eastern Stonechat species in Shetland, Brown Shrike in Orkney, two Northern Harriers in County Wexford, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Baird's Sandpipers in County Wexford and County Donegal, Canvasback in Essex and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire.

  The main discovery today were a Yelkouan Shearwater which flew past Berry Head, Devon.

Continuing rarities comprised of the elusive Pale-legged Leaf Warbler and Arctic Warbler still in East Yorkshire at Bempton Cliffs, Pechora Pipit in Shetland, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Pallid Harriers in both Norfolk and East Yorkshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Eastern Stonechats in Lincolnshire and Norfolk, Baird's Sandpiper in County Donegal, Black-winged Stilt in Cambridgeshire, and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire.

Saturday 28th September 2024  
  Discoveries today included a Pechora Pipit at Quendale in Shetland, in Lincolnshire at Gibraltar Point there was a Blyth's Reed Warbler, an Arctic Warbler and Pallid Harrier were around Spurn in East Yorkshire, a Lesser Scaup at Balgray Resr in Clyde, a Red-flanked Bluetail at Flamborough Head in East Yorkshire, a Black Stork flew over Chichester Harbour, and a Blyth's Reed Warbler in Shetland at Haroldswick.

Continuing rarities comprised of the elusive Pale-legged Leaf Warbler still in East Yorkshire at Bempton Cliffs, Pallid Harriers in both Norfolk and East Yorkshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Eastern Stonechats in Lincolnshire, East Yorkshire, and Norfolk, two Northern Harriers and a Black Kite in County Wexford, Ross's Goose in Ayrshire, and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire and County Donegal.

Friday 27th September 2024  
  A Pale-legged Leaf Warbler was identified at Bempton Cliffs RSPB, Yorkshire this evening, having been present since Wednesday, when it was initially identified as an Arctic Warbler, then, later, an Eastern Crowned Warbler. This is the second record for Britain, following one found dead in Scilly in 2016, with a further record of either Pale-legged or Sakhalin Leaf Warbler from Portland, Dorset in 2012.

In Cheshire, the Hudsonian Godwit reappeared, this time at Hale.

New discoveries today included a Brown Booby past Fife Ness, Fife, single Baird's Sandpipers at Churchtown, County Wexford and Blanket Nook, County Donegal and a White-rumped Sandpiper at Lady's Island Lake, County Wexford.

Other lingering rarities included the Brown Shrike in Orkney, Western Bonelli's Warbler in Scilly, Eastern Stonechats in Norfolk, Lincolnshire and Shetland, Northern Harrier and Black Kite in County Wexford, Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Ducks in Leicestershire and Warwickshire and Spotted Sandpiper in Fife.

  Discoveries today included late news of a 2nd Northern Harrier in County Wexford at Tacumshin, today at Tacumshin there was a Black Kite, a Ross's Goose in at Fail in Ayrshire, and a Brown Shrike at North Ronaldsay, Orkney.

Continuing rarities comprised an elusive Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler still in Northumberland, Pallid Harriers in both Norfolk and East Yorkshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Eastern Stonechats in Lincolnshire and Norfolk, Red-footed Falcon in Kent, and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire.

  Discoveries today included a Barolo Shearwater in Cornwall passing Mousehole, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife at Cameron Reservoir, an Eastern Stonechat species in Cleveland at Saltburn, and an Arctic Warbler on the Shetland Isles at Loch of Spiggie, Mainland.

Continuing rarities comprised an elusive Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler still in Northumberland, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Whiskered Tern in County Londonderry, Wilson's Phalarope in Essex, Western Bonelli's Warbler on the Isles of Scilly, Greenish Warbler in Cleveland, Pallid Harriers in both Norfolk and East Yorkshire, Eastern Stonechats in Lincolnshire and Norfolk, Blyth's Reed Warblers on Shetland and the Western Isles, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Red-footed Falcon in Kent, and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire.

  In Shetland, a Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler was found in Maywick, whilst in Northumberland the Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler was rediscovered in Northumberland, and a Fea's Petrel flew past Long Nab in North Yorkshire. Other new rarities today consisted of Arctic Warbler in Crail, Fife, Paddyfield Warbler on St.Mary's, Scilly, Red-flanked Bluetail at Spurn, East Yorkshire, two Arctic Warblers in Burrafirth, Shetland, Lanceolated Warbler at Levenwick, Shetland, Dusky Warbler in Flamborough, East Yorkshire, Bonelli's Warbler on Tresco, Scilly, Blyth's Reed Warbler at Bornish, Western Isles, two Bonaparte's Gulls at Nethertown in County Wexford, Lanceolated Warbler at North Ronaldsay in Orkney, Fea's Petrel off Skellig Islands in County Kerry, Pallid Harrier in Welwick, East Yorkshire, and Baird's Sandpiper at Tacumshin, County Wexford.

Lingering rarities included the Whiskered Tern in County Derry, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, two Ferruginous Ducks in Leicestershire, Red-footed Falcon in Kent, Eastern Stonechat in Lincolnshire, Dusky Warbler in East Yorkshire, two Arctic Warblers in Shetland, Wilson's Phalarope in Essex, Greenish Warbler in Cleveland, Eastern Stonechat in Lothian, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, and a Black-winged Stilt in Cambridgeshire.
