| The highlight today was a Tennessee Warbler on Fair Isle in Shetland, other new rarities consisted of a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Loch Ordais on Western Isles, Greenish Warbler at Porthgwarra in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Larne, County Antrim, Red-footed Falcon at Elmley NNR in Kent, Black Stork at Dursey Island, County Cork, and Long-billed Dowitcher at Bowling Green Marsh in Devon.
Lingering rarities included the Steppe Grey Shrike in Lothian, Black-winged Stilt in Cambridgeshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Baird's Sandpiper in County Kerry, Canvasback in Essex, and two Ferruginous Ducks in Leicestershire. |
