  New rarities today consisted of a White-rumped Sandpiper at Smerwick Harbour in County Kerry, Ferruginous Ducks at Stanford Resr in Northamptonshire and at Etton in Cambridgeshire, Greenish Warbler at Easington in East Yorkshire, White-billed Diver at Carinbulg in Aberdeenshire, Arctic Warbler at Burrafirth in Shetland, and Black Kite at Bockhill Farm in Kent.

Continuing rarities included at least seven Greenish Warblers scattered all along the east coast of Britain, the Hudsonian Godwit still in Flintshire, Canvasback in Essex, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Cornwall and Western Isles, Red-footed Falcon in County Donegal, Lesser Scaup in Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Black Kite in County Cork, and a White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk.
