  New rarities consisted of late news of an Eastern Olivaceous Warbler at Cudham in Greater London, Franklin's Gull at Loch Ordais on Western Isles, and White-rumped Sandpiper at Titchwell in Norfolk.

The Stejneger's Scoter remained on the sea off Musselburgh in Lothian. Other lingering rarities included the Pacific Diver in County Clare, Blue-winged Teal in East Yorkshire, Black-winged Stilt and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Fife.
